Were you able to diagnose this? I'm having the exact same issue - somehow Network Monitoring & Testing used over 800 gb of data this month without any change in behavior from my household.
Has anyone found a solution to this? Same thing has happened to me the last 3-4 months and we have absolutely blown through our data limit where as before we weren’t even close. We called cox and they suggested we update our wifi name and password but they couldn’t explain it either

No, the agent I spoke with would only say to reset our wifi name and password. Since doing that, the issue hasn’t continued though, and the Network Monitoring & Testing category fell completely off of the data usage activity log.

The neighbors who had been pirating your Wi-Fi will have to find a new Internet source, until someone tells them the new Wi-Fi name and password. By any chance, do you have kids and neighbors with kids?

I suppose so, but the labeling still seems odd to me. Surely if a neighbor was using our wifi it would have increased the usage in a category like streaming or gaming? I’ve still been unable to get clarity about what “Network Management & Testing” actually entails, which makes me anxious that this issue might resurface down the road. There are several users reporting the same issue as well - it seems unlikely that all of us have neighbors pirating our WiFi and using data in the exact same category.
