Valid emails going into Spam/Junk

Why are valid emails going into spam or junk? I have sent emails and the the reply's are going into spam/junk. Emails from my son's school are all of a sudden going into junk. I even made sure to add the domain name from the school as an approved sender.

  • That usually indicates that there is something either in the wording of the email or possibly an attachment that could trigger the spam filter to think something is spam even if it really isn't. You can forward these emails as an attachment to thisisnotspam@cox.net to report the email as not being spam.

    You are not alone. Too many valid emails were going to Spam.  I set my email to send everything to my Inbox.  I delete the spam from there.  Otherwise I have to check the Spam folder daily.
