Ok just to keep this forum thread going... my family all went to bed by 10pm and JUST woke up.
Me, Wife, and 2 small kids.
It's 7:55am and the Data Cap officially zeros out/starts over on the 27th of every month.
As of 7:55am this morning (27th), Cox claims that so far our household has used 28GB of Data.
I turned traffic metering on in my Netgear router this summer when I started hitting the cap.
Readings on my router say that YESTERDAY we used about 28GB through the whole day.
The entire day yesterday cox's meter stated we were closing in on 49% over the Cap. I called customer service and the lady stated that it doesn't actually reset until the next day on the 27th.
But cox is counting yesterday's data usage towards my NEW monthly cycle?
I'm going to look for more sophisticated data metering tools and install to compare against cox's readings.
