Description of my on-going Cox email problem. This has been occurring for at least 3 weeks:
- My primary email address with cox.net is k0tw@cox.net. This is my ONLY active email with Cox.
- The problem surfaces when someone sends an email TO me. This has happened with emails sent from a number of people with widely different email addresses using different ISPs:
For example: If… let’s say… Jim@aol.com sends an email to me at k0tw@cox.net.
1) I receive Jim’s email just fine.
2) But within a time-frame between 5 minutes and several hours Jim receives the following message back in response to the email he sent to me:

Notice that the error is associated with an email of k0tw_macbook@ cox.net which is an old email address that I had Cox delete a few weeks ago. Why is Cox (apparently) trying to send a copy of the sender’s email to this non-existent email address??
Thanks again for any help.
