Unable to send out an email using Mozilla Thunderbird

Attempted to forward a fraudulent email back to JP Morgan Chase bank (abuse@chase.com) and received the following error message (rekeyed in as your system will not accept a paste-up):

"Alert

"An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded:  <wrhodin@cox.net> message

rejected. Refer to Error Codes section at https://www.cox.com/residential/support/email-error-codes.html

for more information. AUP#CXSNDR. Please check the message and try again."

Have not experienced this problem with other email messages.

Thank for looking into it.

  • Hi Homeuser. Our email system won't allow you to send an email that appears to be spam. You may want to try to send it as an attachment if you need to send it to the bank. Lisa, Cox Support Forums Moderator.
