I also checked downdetector.com and didn't see any reported problems. Must be a local issue.
i only have 1 connection from wall to router, checked the config & everything looks good. I dont suspect the cables as it has been intact for the last 6months at least
How does the coaxial get from the street/pole to that outlet? Do you have more the one outlet in your house? If so, there must be a splitter connecting them together. It could be in your demarc or behind the outlet.
no splitter, the tech guy fixed it in one line only.
Then it seems you are stuck waiting for a technician. If you are looking to see if others in your area are effected, you might try DSLReports or Reddit.
This comment is aimed at darkatt Does Tier 1 still have the ability to use a tool to see if modems are online across the street/node? I know you said before they didn't have Edgehealth, but do they have something else? It would have been useful in this situation.
