Planned Maintenance with no notification

Hello!

Last evening we have an outage.

It was listed as a "planned outage" but we had not received any notifications

All my information is correct and up to date?

Can anyone help me how to resolve this as I work from home?

  • Hello, I understand how important staying informed is, especially when working from home. Planned maintenance doesn't necessarily mean planned in advance. The outage was more than likely in response to reports of signal delivery issues in the area.

    This is my complaint as well. This happened 48 hours ago, and now it's happening again right now. 

    If it's not planned or scheduled maintenance, why doesn't Cox show it as an outage or just maintenance?

      Bbelles03, I am sorry you did not receive any type of text notification. You can change your preferences online or text UPDATE to 269898. Advance notices are only sent if we are doing upgrades in your area. Which is different than a planned outage or maintenance. We will be sure to share your feedback on this as well.
