You may try to use your own modem and router. Buy ones from costco and return them if not satisfied with performance. At least, my tplink ac4000 router outperforms cox panoramic in wifi strength and range.
You'll need to describe your scenario. At what distance? What's between your device and the Panoramic? What frequency are you using?
