I don't have the Pano. I thought these had a button for WPS. Does it require a PIN? Always on doesn't appear to be secure.

doesn't require pin, if you get PODS, they connect using WPS only. Which means if you happen to use PODS, you cannot turn off WPS and you cannot use wpa3

If you have Pods, the software on the Pano enables WPS? I guess the big question for OP: Are you using Pods?

I was using the pods as an example. WPS is set to on, by default, in MOST WiFi routers and WiFi modems.

The three things I do when getting any router is
1. Change the default password and passphrase.
2. Disable UPnP and forward any needed ports.
3. Disable WPS.
