Package Changes

I had called last week as my promotional period expired, I was told i needed a new modem and once I received it and got it hooked up Cox would give me the plan at $79.99. Not even 6 days later I get my new modem hooked up and the retention manager is refusing to honor that pricing. How can Cox not honor what an agent quoted me?
