Outlook no longer works with email. Cannot send any email. CS will try to troubleshoot for a fee...

Using Outlook 2016

No changes prior to issue on my setup

Checked and rechecked all server settings

Reset password

Re-setup accounts

Spoke to CS and was told they no longer support troubleshooting email clients (Outlook unless I want to pay $10.00)

No explanation

When trying to send an email it continually errors out.

I have no other setting to fix/change on my end. Microsoft says its my ISP.

Seeing quite a few threads on this lately.

Any fixes that aren't the canned response from Cox?

are you able to access your email on myemail.cox.net ? are other clients like Thunderbird, Mac Mail, or Windows Mail working?

webmail works, haven't tried others. Outlook should work.

I use outlook as well, not having issues with my cox email. my current settings are: incoming server: imap.cox.net , port 993. SSL/TLS encryption method. "require logon using SPA" box is unchecked.  outgoing server: smtp.cox.net , port 465. SSL/TLS encryption. "my outgoing (smtp) server requires authentication" box is checked, and "use same settings as my incoming mail server". "require logon using SPA" box is unchecked.
