I changed the settings per cox for outlook. I could not send email but could receive email into outlook. Called Cox customer service they told me it was an outlook problem and that I need to contact them. Wrong. No words can describe cox customer service. Reading through the forum I have found my solution. I just changed my password in my account settings and then updated the password in the outlook account settings. That was the fix. I can now send email through outlook.
