Not Getting 1GB

Upgraded to Gigablast. Cox gets 1GB at outlet. Laptop connected directly to modem using Ethernet only getting about 300mbps. Cox says modem is the problem (Netgear Nighthawk CM1200). Netgear says Cox is problem.

    Hello, we're sorry you're experiencing slow speeds, and I understand it can be quite frustrating to deal with. I am not detecting any packet loss on your modem at this time. Here's some information on ways to improve Gigablast speeds:

    Additionally, there is information about laptops and other devices, as well as the speeds they can obtain. Your modem levels appear to be within a healthy range at the moment.
