thanks for the reply, I was on chat with cox again and they came to conclusion...no signal from the outside box. The tech did something and now they will not resend a tech for 5 days, so no internet till then, so frustrating

Oh and I did even go out and get one of Cox's rental modems, still nothing

Cox doesn't rent modems. Cox rents all-in-one devices (DOCSIS & WiFi & eMTA). If this rental did nothing, take it back immediately to get it off your bill.

cox does rent modems, I had a choice between a modem and all in one and took the modem option. Anyway, I did email and they told me the same thing so I wait.
