New Modem, No Additional Cost (well, except for that little $20 fee)

No additional cost, eh? Well, why will I end up paying $20 for it this "free" modem?? I hate deceptive and false advertising. I dropped cable years ago, and it was such a good decision, I highly reco...

Hi 311Spider, I'm guessing that you received an email from Cox offering a modem replacement. Usually these offers also include free activation if you are comfortable installing the device yourself.
