New Arris SB8200 Modem Rebooting

I've recently just bought a brand new ASUS AX1800 Router and Arris Surfboard SB8200 Modem to replace my old equipment due to some awful internet issues. Most of the problems were solved with the new equipment but I've noticed the modem (which is less than a week in use) has rebooted several times on it's own during the few days I've had it plugged in. There has been several periods of maintenance from Cox in my area lately but I'm not entirely sure if this is part of the issue or not.

On my modem the Upstream light is green instead of blue, but I figured this was due to me not having a gigabit plan so it wouldn't need to be in DOCSIS 3.1 mode. Again, not sure if this is part of the problem.

I live in a large apartment complex and I'm not sure when the last time all of the wiring/cables has been inspected or replaced here. All of my issues started within the past 1-2 weeks coincidentally around the same time Cox has been performing several periods of maintenance. Originally I had an Arris Surboard SB6190 which after about a year started experiencing the dreaded latency spikes thanks to the Puma 6 chip. Since replacing the modem and router I have had steady speeds and no latency spikes, but the random rebooting from the modem is still a nuisance.

Below are the most recent status & event updates from the last time my modem rebooted.

I will be moving in about a month so if the issue lies with the wiring at my complex then I'll just hope that it goes away when I move. Any help is appreciated!

Do you have any splitters in the apartment or a closet where all the coaxial comes together? If not, it's probably your apartment complex wiring. The issue seems to be noise in the 900Mhz range. That's what is causing the uncorrectables. If you are moving in a month and the problem isn't that severe, I would wait. Make sure you get a professional install at the new place to double check your wiring/signal.

No splitters as far as I can see, I just contacted my complex management in case anyone else has been having issues or if they're able to send a tech out to look at things. The issue is a bit urgent since I work from home part of the week so I really can't be experiencing complete drops in connection for periods of time, just last night it got pretty bad and my modem was stuck in a boot loop until this morning when I finally unplugged everything and did a full reset of the modem. I tried replying last night with updated event logs but it got flagged as spam so I don't really want to try again lol. I am still in the return window for my modem in case it's defective and I've never had a modem get stuck in a boot loop before. I'll see what my complex says first.

It almost never is the modem, specially with a clear signal issue like you have shown. You can try scheduling a Cox technician but there may be charges depending on where the problem is. I think it is wise to check with your complex. Keep the forum up to date. Good luck!
