That modem needs a separate router there is no router built in and what Ethernet port is the computer plugged into?

I know how important it is for you to activate your Port Forwarding. Only our Panoramic Wifi modems are able to use wifi.cox.com. Your MB8611 will not be able to access the wifi.cox.com website nor the Cox Wifi App. Because the MB8611 is a cable modem you will need to reach out to the device manufacturer of your router to find out how to set up Port Forwarding.
