More and more scam emails from Cox email addresses
While the outside source spam email volume has improved drastically in the last few months, I find myself getting more and more emails from Cox email addresses saying that they are <insert name of bank> and that my password and/or account has been compromised and to click the link to fix it. I'm smart enough to know that it's a scam, but I'm not sure whether or not these should be reported to phishingreport@cox.net, or abuse@cox.net. My common practice is to report any non-Cox account to phishing and any that comes from a Cox.net address to abuse. Is this correct? Something needs to be done about these, because now someone is hacking internally to send these out to the dreaded undisclosed-recipients. I've even filtered out all emails with "undisclosed-recipients" in the "To" field, and they sometimes still end up in my inbox rather than spam. Hope some internal control is coming soon, because I must have reported at least 50 instances so far.
