In my other thread... which I can't figure out how to delete... you mentioned...
"The T3 timeouts are more of a concern. Are you signal levels OK? Specially the upstream. Also, I see a reset signal being sent. Was that you troubleshooting with Cox?"
I think the levels are good? But when I was troubleshooting the slow speed issue with Cox, I mentioned the Excessive Power events in the event logs to the Cox rep who told me that indicated a problem with my modem and that I needed a new modem. But after getting a new modem I was still have the same problems. That's when I started looking into my speed with a laptop connected directly to the modem and was able to get full speed and lead me to identifying the ethernet cable as the suspected source of my slow speed.
My speeds have been solid for most of the day now but I'm still wondering based on the logs if I still have any underlying issue to be resolved?
The reset was from changing modems on my account... I had Cox add my old modem back to the account since the new one isn't needed.
