Mesa Outage 05/12/2025 +

Does anyone know or have any details of what is going on and why? Normally in my area we have had little to almost no issues with the internet. ATT Fiber came in to the area a few months ago and small outages here and there. Starting yesterday we have been without internet for almost 2 days (off and on).

Nothing has changed with the equipment inside the house, all we know is the heat is starting to pick up. Its gotten so bad that we can't work remotely from home so have to chose to go into the office or a coffee shop to work.

Now i'm not blaming Cox directly because we do have backup internet, BUT coincidentally our other provider has been down for 4 days with no internet. So living off of a mobile hotspot at the moment as long as service there is good.

Oh and my gripe. Gigabit internet is not gigabit. Why do other providers in the area offer 1Gig up AND 1Gig down, instead of only 100MBit up? paying a higher price for Gig internet but not getting Gig internet that the others offer for a cheaper price and faster speed. Rant over ...

    It is out in phoenix as well and no one knows why or when it will be fixed my hole apartments have no internet or cable now for 2 days

    Service came back on about an hour ago roughly. Still have a tech coming tomorrow to take a look as things have been spotty up and down.
