Lorex Camera NVR not working with new modem

I just changed out my cox modem from  Arris TG1682 to a DOCSIS 3.1 Dual Band 802.11-AC Panoramic Wifi Gateway. Now my app wont connect to my Lorex camera system. It worked until I swapped modems. Has anyone else had issues with this?  I have gone to the Wifi cox page checked all setting talked to Lorex and Cox on the phone with no luck!!!  I feel like the new modem is blocking something. When I had advanced security on it gave me a notification that my lorex cloud phone app was trying to get in. I turned advanced security off and still no luck.

    Yes I have had trouble on the opposite side. My lorex internal cam wouldn’t connect to the router. Does it work locally with the new modem/router? How is your nvm connected to router wirelessly?

    I suggest connecting the nvm to the modem /router through Ethernet.

  • It's also possible your previous gateway had a port forwarding configuration to allow access to your camera system. The replacement gateway may not have this port forwarding configuration. Just a thought...
