Login won't work in Outlook/Can't get email

Can't get  my email in Outlook.  Get a prefilled popup asking for login, click it and it won't connect.  Get the following error message:

Log onto incoming mail server (POP3): Your e-mail server rejected your login. Verify your user name and password for this account in Account Settings.  The server responded: -ERR Invalid login or password 

Send test e-mail message: Your outgoing (SMTP) e-mail server has reported an internal error. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).  The server responded: 554 eastrmimpo109.cox.net cox too many bad commands fr

    Please confirm the current settings for your incoming and outgoing server name, port number, and authentication.
