Is Docsis 3.1 supported in the North Scottsdale area?
I need to purchase a new modem and want to know if I should get 3.0 or 3.1 - If 3.1 is available now, or will be in the near term I'll go with a more expensive 3.1

as long as it's on the supported list it will work you don't need d 3.1 service to use a d 3.1 modem
- @AZMoosie, Andrew is correct. Please make sure that the modem you purchase is from our Cox-Certified list of modems. The list can be located here:

Cox-certified DOCSIS 3.1 devices are backward-compatible with DOCSIS 3.0 technology. Additionally, if you decided to upgrade to Gigabit speeds later, this will require a DOCSIS 3.1 modem. -Kevin M. My question was, does Cox support (perhaps has Cox implemented 3.1 is more clear) in the North Scottsdale area.
