Is Docsis 3.1 supported in the North Scottsdale area?

I need to purchase a new modem and want to know if I should get 3.0 or 3.1 - If 3.1 is available now, or will be in the near term I'll go with a more expensive 3.1

as long as it's on the supported list it will work   you don't need d 3.1 service to use a d 3.1 modem

@AZMoosie, Andrew is correct. Please make sure that the modem you purchase is from our Cox-Certified list of modems. The list can be located here:

    www.cox.com/.../cox-certified-cable-modems.html

Cox-certified DOCSIS 3.1 devices are backward-compatible with DOCSIS 3.0 technology. Additionally, if you decided to upgrade to Gigabit speeds later, this will require a DOCSIS 3.1 modem. -Kevin M. Cox Support Forum Moderator

Thanks guys, I already knew that the Motorola MG7550 is on the Cox supported list, and that it is downward compatible with 3.0.  My question was, does Cox support (perhaps has Cox implemented 3.1 is more clear) in the North Scottsdale area.

Your area is gigablast serviceable, so yes, we support 3.1 in your specific area.

why not use the panoramic combo & save some aggravation if you have problems?
