Internet/Voice Modem Question
I'm in Oklahoma City and I have both Cox Internet and home phone service. I've been using the Cisco DPQ3212 modem for about 6 years. My question - is there a newer better voice/internet modem offered by Cox?

Yes, we have better modems available so are modem/router combos this link has a list www.cox.com/.../cox-certified-cable-modems.html. The ones that say Cox Voice compatible is what you're looking for.

Cox Moderator The Cisco DPQ3212 has DOCSIS 3.0 technology and 8×4 channels (down/up) so, yes, there are more advanced Internet-telephone modems. The question is...do you need a more-advanced modem for your current data plan? Are you having problems with this modem? If you're not having problems and don't need to upgrade your data plan, stick with your current modem. If it ain't broke...
