internet speed did not increase after upgrade

Recently upgraded service from 150mbps to 500mbps, and the speeds still only top out @ 150mbps across all devices.

My network is capable of well over 1gbps throughput, after chatting with an agent my issue is still not resolved.

Any advice would be appreciated.

    Howdy. First, what model modem and router do you have? Next, how are you testing, via ethernet or Wi-Fi? Last, do you have any QoS on your router which might be defining your speed?

    test with a single device connected direct to the modem via ethernet, and see what your speed is.
