Internet service down for hours, no apparent cause
12/6/24 starting around 4pm CST our internet speed became noticeably slow and then shut off completely. The Cox app tried resetting the modem and when that didn't work, suggested scheduling a technician. The modem is able to connect and be pinged remotely, but the internet still isn't working. Nothing has changed with our equipment. The internet just stopped working out of nowhere. Now we have to wait for a technician, with the possibility of being charged for a service call. AT&T is now offering service in the area and I'm guessing they are much more reliable.
