Internet Dropped at 10:30pm 9.6.18

Hi all, 

It sounds like I'm not alone in the internet being spotty. Last night I was watching Netflix, as I assume many others were too, and my internet cut out completely. I checked the Modem, looked to be running, checked online for an outage but nothing was reported. I just moved here and only have had Cox for a couple months, is this a common issue for them? It makes me wonder if there are other options out there that may be more reliable. I've never had my internet just drop unless I had a power outage. 

Would love to hear what others have experienced.

  • Hi FixMyConnectionPlease, your modem is reporting packet loss. While minor, it could cause the connectivity issues you mentioned.
