First, what model modem and router do you have and what light(s) are on it/them? Second, when did the problem start and anything change around then? Next, does it affect both wired and wireless connections? Last, have you tried the simple stuff like checking all the coax connections are tight and reboot the modem and router?

And then OP doesn't answer, probably because the moderator told them to email. 😓
I still wish we could be advised what the mechanism is behind this pattern of telling users to email Cox when there is no reason to, and locking posts for no reason either. Like how does it serve the moderator? It's extra work for them so they must be getting something out of it. Either it's part of their metric, it's commission based(unlikely), or it's a policy. If you go to other forums, this is nothing like how other moderators work. I won't discuss the topic anymore here though in hope that OP comes back to troubleshoot.

Spent over an hour on the phone with tech support. They are coming out on Monday to replace the modem.
