Internet down repratedly

Good morning, I understand there’s been some communication problems in my area but it’s been going on for quite some time now. Almost 2 weeks. Is there more of a global issue that’s causing this problem? It has really interrupted my ability to communicate and then also enjoy television. I started looking at other options for service, but I really don’t wanna change unless I have to.
