I don't know if there is any problem with COX online payment system
I used to pay my payment online with my personal account for the past several years. Last month, I switched to another checking account.
I definitely double-checked the routing number and account number, but it is rejected by COX and COX asked me for a return payment fee, while there is definitely enough fund.
I asked the customer support to remove the credit and I paid the bill again with my personal account I used to pay for. One payment made on 8/24/2019 is successful. I think it is okay for the future, and I scheduled a payment with this old personal account for this billing cycle (aug-sep). and I received return payment charge again along with a monthly internet service charge (I don't know where it is coming from), and this bill for this billing cycle. I have never made a change to my old personal account and my funds on this account is enough for the entire time.
I really don't know if COX online payment has a problem. and my service is disabled by cox today. I signed in and tried to make an emergency payment so I can restore my service. There is no longer an option for using the checking account for the payment. I was like...
I don't know if COX realized they have a problem with online payment, so they disabled the online payment with checking account.
