Not sure if related, but I also notice I have to sign in a lot. Shouldn't the site cookie be keeping me logged in?

Hello WiderMouthOpen,
I'm not aware of a 401 error on Forum sign in. I understand you've found a work around to clear your cookies daily, but I haven't been able to replicate an error upon sign in with my work PC using Chrome Version 119.0.6045.200. Is this issue happening on multiple devices and browsers for you? Today, I've closed all tabs, and reopened forums and it keeps me logged in.

I am also running Chrome 119.0.6045.200 but just updated to 120.0.6099.71 right now. However, I have heard others having this problem with older versions of Chrome too. Can anyone else confirm it happens to them too?

Right now, I am using Edge which is a Chromium browser. I still have to login multiple times a day so it's not a perfect work around. I will monitor the error with Edge and see if it's a browser issue or a Cox issue. My gut is telling me it's a Cox issue and you're not affected because you are on Cox intranet.

I'm not getting the error either therefore I can stay logged in as long as I want as long as I don't close my browser.

DustinP I occasionally get the HTTP 401 error too. I clear it by closing all browser tabs.

Sorry to bring up a old subject but I am seeing the 401 error more often now. I tried using Edge instead but it still occurs. I also have gotten the error on my phone, so I know it's not a PC issue. Has a moderator been able to confirm this from Cox's side yet? It seems to be a issue related to refreshing the page when it has auto logged you out after a certain time.
