hot spots, can u connect more than 1 device at once?

during the outages i have been using the nearest hot spot works ok but if i am connected on my pc, then i join on my phone, i lose the pc connection are we limmited to 1 connection at a time?

but do u know why device 1 disconnects from hot spot when i connect device 2?

its done this to me a few times
