Gigablast Orbi Mesh

Question

Just got gigablast and getting great numbers wired. However, the new gateway panaromaic WiFi can’t cover my 2000sq ft home at full speed.&nbsp;
Id like to use the Netgear Orbi Mesh AC2200 to help distribute my awesome speeds throughout the home. Is this compatible with Cox Gigablast in San Diego

I'll break this up into 2 chunks of Compatibility and Wireless Bandwidth (awesome speeds).
Compatibility.&nbsp; Cox owns a network of coaxial, fiber optic and hybrid fiber-coaxial (HFC) cables.&nbsp; To connect to their network, you'll need a Cox-certified device.&nbsp; The device for their coaxial network is a DOCSIS modem.&nbsp; The device for their fiber optic network is Optical Network Terminal (ONT).&nbsp; You'll need one of these devices.
It's not a question of Orbi being compatible with Gigablast.&nbsp; It's a question of you having a DOCSIS or ONT compatible and capable with the Cox network as well as your Cox Internet-plan.&nbsp; If Cox installed a Panoramic WiFi modem, I'll assume it's compatible and capable.&nbsp; That's how you connect to the Cox network.
Orbi, on the other hand, has to be compatible with that DOCSIS or ONT.&nbsp; If Orbi is WiFi certified with IEEE 802.11...it is...Orbi will not only work in San Diego, but also Caribou, Maine.&nbsp; It'll work.
The Panoramic WiFi modem is both a modem and router.&nbsp; If you return your Panoramic, you'll need to buy both a modem and router.&nbsp; Tiffany provided a link to certified modems, and you'll shop around for a WiFi-certified router, such as Orbi.
If price is a concern, we can help find a less expensive but equally powerful router.

Ah well, wired I’m receiving 900-960. WiFi to my tv is in the 100’s.&nbsp;

The layout out of the house seems to be preventing me from attaining even half.

the reason I ask about the Orbi, is because a friend uses it as his home and his WiFi is actually almost as strong as his wired. He was also having a similar problem and suggested the Orbi.

100 Mbps to the TV is good.
"Attaining even half" of what...the 100 Mbps of the TV or the bandwidth of your wired connection?
Do a speed test from your wireless devices as well as provide the types of wireless cards.
If you return your Panoramic WiFi modem, you'll also have to purchase a new modem.
Don't get me wrong.&nbsp; I'd be the first to return a Panoramic for the rental fees alone.&nbsp; I just want to help find the best router for you.

yes I understand that 100 is good.&nbsp;
The half I was referring to is half of the speed of my wired connection to my desktop which is 900-960.&nbsp;
As far as testing my wireless cards, I’m consistent across the board on all wireless connections near my TV. Which needs to stay where it is.&nbsp;
In all honesty i found a device from a friend which he has showed me works. I just want to know if gigablast works with it. It’s expensive I know but it’s worth it to me.&nbsp;
Would u happen to know if Orbi Mesh router works with gigablast in San Diego?&nbsp;
I know there are other devices, but I’ve seen this particular device work with my own eyes as well as my own devices, so Orbi Mesh is the only way I’ll go unless it doesn’t work with gigablast.
