Yes, I am also in SoCal and they told me that our internet would be down for up to FIVE DAYS. It's amazing how hard it is to get a straight answer. I wish there was an alternative where I am.

Our network is designed and built to handle peak use in the evenings to meet the full needs of families’ demands, and this same network is available to support our customers throughout the day. In reference to other members posting about latency and/or packet loss, these are handled on a case-by-case basis.
