Thank you for the response, but did you mark your post as the solution? Shouldn't the OP only have that power? I don't really care in this case, but it seems to be a pattern. Could you explain? I am removing the mark.
OP should be the one to mark a reply as the solution, but I'd like to see a change made to prevent OP from marking their own post as the solution.

I have no problem with OP marking a post of theirs as the solution if it actually gives data on what the solution was. Posting "Cox is bad" and marking it as a solution is something else entirely though. However some people solve issues on their own after troubleshooting and want to post and mark it as solution incase others have the same problem. I have done this myself several times.
I understand what you're saying and have no issue with you marking your own replies as the solution, because of your solid reputation. My reasoning for not wanting unfamiliar OPs from being able to mark their own reply as the solution is to prevent what you mentioned and to provide assurance that profile stats accurately indicate an individual's contributions.
