For days now, this same message comes up when I want to mark it Spam and block it. Haven't sent any messages.

Error Message could not be sent to the following recipients: [spamreport@cox.net] (451 - 451 4.2.0 146.20.112.67 has exceeded the number of messages allowed per hour and has therefore been blocked for a period of three hours. If you have not been knowingly sending large volumes of email, this may indicate that your computer is infected with a virus which is sending emails without your knowledge. Please scan your system for viruses as soon as possible. The block will automatically be lifted at the end of the three-hour period. Please visit http://ww2.cox.com/coxagainstspam for more information. Please help. Thank you!!

  • Angel,

We are aware of the problem some customers are seeing when trying to mark messages as spam in the new web mail and are working to resolve it. I have entered a ticket for the account information associated with the email address you used to register for forums. The ticket number is noted on the account. Should you need this ticket number you can obtain it by calling in to support or by emailing the forum moderators at cox.help@cox.com with your info and a reference to this thread.
