I don’t believe Edge allows you to set a default email program; however, other browsers do. I also don’t believe Win10 allows you to select Edge as a default email client; however, if you install another browser, it’ll appear as an option: Start > Settings > Default Apps.
- LisaHModeratorHi Robert Edmands. Since Edge is a browser, are you trying to set Cox webmail as your home page when you open Edge? You will always have to log into Cox Webmail as this a security feature of being web-based. If so, here are the instructions. - Lisa, Cox Support Forums Moderator
Open Edge.
Tap the three-dot menu button on the top right.
Select Settings.
Check the box for A Specific Page Or Pages under the Open With section. ...
Click the down arrow at the end of the drop down menu.
Pick Custom. ...
Enter the URL of the page you wish to add.- BruceHonored Contributor III
I was thinking about mailto links. What program opens after clicking a mailto link. I don't believe Edge allows you to select Edge as a default app; however, if you have Chrome also installed, you could select chrome.
If you select an online service (Cox), you're right about still having to login.
