download speeds horrible

 I am in virginia beach and my present download speed is less than 50 and my upload is less than 5. I have a new Motorola modem and have done all the resets, tightening, etc and no help. I have the Premier 200 program. I would say something is wrong but cannot talk to a Cox support rep in a reasonable amount of time. Wish there was a better alternative.

    "reasonable amount of time", other folks are also talking/waiting to talk to cox rep!

    Hi Pungoherb,

    Currently, your modem is reporting offline. Looking at the history of your modem levels, the levels were not in the normal range. Is there a splitter in the connection that you can bypass and test your connection again?
