are you able to access your email on myemail.cox.net ? are other clients like Thunderbird, Mac Mail, or Windows Mail working?

webmail works, haven't tried others. Outlook should work.

    I use outlook as well, not having issues with my cox email. my current settings are: incoming server: imap.cox.net , port 993. SSL/TLS encryption method. "require logon using SPA" box is unchecked.  outgoing server: smtp.cox.net , port 465. SSL/TLS encryption. "my outgoing (smtp) server requires authentication" box is checked, and "use same settings as my incoming mail server". "require logon using SPA" box is unchecked.

        What operating system does this computer use and are you trying to send from your home Internet connection?

      fwiw, my spa box is checked but i'm using pop3 & you're using imap.
