Customer service related to data usage is horrible.

Apparently we went over our usage limit by 7gb yesterday. Our data usage cycle ends on the 11th, yesterday. I say apparently because as a customer we have no way of verifying their data tracking.

How are we supposed to know what our data usage is if Cox’s data usage tracking is so delayed? We were well under the limit yesterday according to the Cox app, yet today, a day after our cycle ends we receive notification that we went over yesterday.

Customer service verified the overage occurred yesterday the 11th. That is ridiculous when the data usage info Cox provides says you ARE NOT over the limit. Last night we checked because we knew we were getting near the limit and it appeared we had plenty of usage cap room.

I now get when everyone in my area hates Cox. They are the only internet provider in our area.
