Cox WiFi does not recognize device name change
Cox WiFi internet app does not recognize name of device I modified. How do I get computer revised name to be recognized

Seems like this has happened before. See here. Does it show the MAC address?
Did you rename the computer within the OS of the computer?
According to the Cox Panoramic Wifi App Features while reviewing your list of connected devices:
Result: A device list displays with the default device name provided by the manufacturer or the name you have previously personalized.
You may have to rename the device with the app.
