Cox speed tests never go through

everytime i try to do a cox speedtest for the server in my area i will either get "Could not connect to the test server. A firewall could be blocking the connection or the server might be having some issues. Please try again later." this error even though as far as I know there is no firewall blocking the connection... or "A socket error occurred during the Download test. Please try again later." please help. But also when i switch to a different server in a different location such as I live in Las Vegas and the speedtest to the las vegas server does not go through but when i switch it to Orange County CA the speedtest goes through with no issue
