Cox service reliability

More than a week ago Cox service was down for about 14 hours for a scheduled maintenance, since then, except for a two day period, the service had been down for more than 4 hours each day. And when it was up, the internet service would repeatedly experience slow speeds and repeated dropouts.

so effectively we have been without useable service for nearly a week.  If I had another service provider, I would be inclined to drop Cox.  As it is they should refund us for the days without service.
