Copy and Paste articles to forward

For a long time, I could "copy" and "paste' articles so that I could forward them to others. Recently I've tried the same, but the computer won't allow me to. In the past, I would  go to the task bar on top and right click to highlight the article; then I would go to "compose" and fill out the Subject line; then I would go to the  email box and right click and I would get the article highlighted. I could then add any comments to go with it.

    Lately I have followed the exact same procedure but the email box will not show the highlighted link so that the receiver can click on it. I have had windows 10 for a long time... it worked then .

    I am having the same issue. I tried the copy and paste "fixes"; namely X out pboard and killall pboard in terminal (both under utility in Finder). I have cleared my cache as well. This started about 2 weeks ago. I'll keep you posted if I fix it.
