Forum Discussion
I'm a somewhat knowledgeable user in that I am very familiar with pingplotter, latency, jitter, bufferbloat, routers, modems, etc. It is very clear to see what the issue is. It is network congestion driven jitter and PL. It occurs intermittently, for days usually at the first hop beyond my router, 10.36.72.1, which is an ISP problem. I know that whoever answers this forum post will not be able to do squat to fix it. It's a general COX corporate problem. They don't care enough about gaming users to do anything. Whatever. It's just a bummer, paying for service which is substandard. It seems like monopolized industries such as cable just take advantage of their consumers. If you think you can get my $50/month refunded, then let's keep the chat going.
