It seems like this post begs more questions than answers.
1. Does Cox offer an email-only service?
2. Did the new ISP subscription and the Cox 90-day expiration occur at the same time?
3. Does Cox not have authoritative DNS servers?
4. Why would Cox only "better the service until 9 AM" as opposed to all the time?
5. How does one "email us" if you're denying email service?
6. How does one "stay safe and healthy" if you're adding angst?
7. If someone pays for email service, why doesn't Cox have a backup, secondary, redundant or standby system for this paid service?

The moderator may have stopped reading at "Can't send email..." because there was a current email issue, and posted a canned response (with a strangely worded first sentence).
