Yes, we are having the same issue and are using Outlook as well. In December it started with the continual need to re-enter passwords even when they were saved in the system. It still randomly does it with my cox emails, not my emails that are forwarded to the cox account, however.
In the past few days it is the issue with sending emails. We received a letter and email regarding 'strengthening the security and privacy of your cox.net email account' and we checked our settings which were already as the website 'www.cox.com/secureemail' indicated yet after doing this step it seems something is amiss. No longer can we send email from any of my accounts using cox whether it is on a laptop, ipad or smart phone utilizing cox. We can, however, go through webmail, which as other have said, is not reasonable or efficient in the long run.
So far, there has not been a solution seen on the website to assist with this issue. Will try to call in again, waits have been long and have not been able to stay on hold that long.
Has anyone else received a solution? The latest error is 5.7.0 authentication rejected Error code: -17898. Others have been connection to server failed or was dropped. error code: -3253.
