Billing Charges

We have a new account, internet service. When setting up billing we were asked to provide the address where we want the bill mailed to. It turns out that is also used by Cox as the credit card's billing address, which in our case is different. This caused 3 charges of $25 each because the credit card company refused the charges. Cox reimbursed only $25, that's their policy, even though the fault is theirs. This theft of our $50 is extremely poor customer service.

You should contact the Consumer Protection Office for your state or county.  I don't think this would be a utility matter but more of a telecom matter...so perhaps the Office for overall Consumer Protection.

Edit your wording because I got confused on the portion about the CC billing address.
