Automatic Payment Error

I had automatic payment set up and changed the credit card that my account was attached to (getting rid of that card). Now that I did this, when I try to set up automatic payments again I get the message “You are not allowed to enroll for easy pay as your subscription is in a state which does not allow this feature for postpaid customer” — if anyone has dealt with this issue, can you please help me? Thank you.
