Actual vs Advertised Speeds....Is it FRAUD!

If you advertise speeds up to 100 mbps and a customer routinely receives 75 - 90 mbps, that is well within reason of up to....

If you advertise speeds up to 100 mbps and a customer routinely receives 4 - 5 mpbs, that is FRAUD!!!!!!!

  • Hi Packer_backer2006. I can understand how frustrating it is when your internet service isn't performing. When you run a speed test, are your hardwired or wirelessly connected? To verify your speed, please run a speed test using www.cox.com/.../speedtest.html from a hardwired computer and see what the results are. If they are in range, then you know the issue is with the wireless connectivity. - Lisa, Cox Support Forums Moderator
